2003 VINTAGE

The 2002 Winter was very rainy, leaving the soil moist until when the grape shoots opened.

Spring was cold, with low levels of sun and light which delayed the budding and flowering of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay

January and March were warm, which permitted the grape to maintain its acidity and reach a good maturity. The reds had a slow maturation. During Fall there were wide temperature differences between night and day, helping provide an excellent polyphenolic maturity.
